在無法保持安全距離的時候,戴上口罩是最安全的方法,因此現在參觀國家公園或由園區營運的建築物時規定需要戴上口罩。美國內政部在一份聲明中說,如果無法維持社交距離,訪客和員工必須在室內以及戶外公園佩戴口罩,包括在狹窄或繁忙的步道、眺望台和歷史古蹟。 

口罩將幫助冠狀病毒大流行控制疫情,公共衛生公園服務辦公室主任表示:戴著口罩、保持社交疏遠和洗手是幫助阻止COVID-19傳播的最簡單、最有效的公共衛生措施。外出享受我們的公園對於改善身心健康至關重要,但是需要所有人共同努力,以負責任的態度努力。
